Philosophy

Understanding where you come from makes room for where you’re going.

I’m here to slow down with you. Before we change a pattern, we appreciate how it helped you function, and how you learned it from your family, your culture, and your past experiences. Your feelings get to be fully felt, not interpreted away, and the understanding grows from there.

I’m grounded in humanistic and relational approaches, with psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems perspectives, and a strong multicultural lens for working with your history. I bring that training to find the approach that works for you, not the other way around.
